Job Description

Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is seeking a highly skilled, solution-driven Software Development Engineer II, PGX, EU INTech to join our Automotive Engineering team in Bengaluru, Karnataka . Operating within the EU International Technology (EU INTech) charter for Partner Growth and Experiences (PGX), this role focuses on building software from the ground up and implementing distributed microservices to create a single-store shopping experience for global Selling Partners .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Greenfield Backend Engineering: Architect, implement, and launch new software platforms and key product features from the ground up to solve complex business problems .
  • Cloud Infrastructure Configuration: Deploy and scale services across a wide technical stack, leveraging AWS technologies including Lambda, ECS, EDP, SQS, and DynamoDB .
  • Automotive Digital Product Design: Build and iterate on innovative digital automotive products such as Global Garage, Product Finders, and mobile keyless Test Drive experiences .
  • Operational Excellence Governance: Influence product roadmaps, drive high-availability system configurations, and spearhead SDLC best practices across code reviews, testing, and live operations .
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with a highly skilled team of developers, product managers, and internal retail groups to accelerate global platform efficiency .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Professional Software Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of verified, non-internship professional software development experience .
  • System Design & Architecture: 2 or more years of hands-on experience designing new and existing systems, with deep grounding in design patterns, reliability, and scaling .
  • Core Programming Languages: Solid software development and coding proficiency in at least one modern language, specifically Java or C++ .
  • Industry Grounding Constraint: 3+ years of specific experience within the Video Games Industry, supporting title development, release pipelines, or Live Ops frameworks .
  • Preferred Value-Adds: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a strong background in full SDLC management including coding standards, source control, and automated build pipelines .
