Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is seeking a highly analytical, technically accomplished Software Engineer II, Selection Monitoring to join our catalog intelligence division in Bengaluru, Karnataka . Operating within a high-stakes, big-data platform environment, this core backend engineering tier owns the architectural design patterns, data pipelines, and orchestration rules required to ingest, deduplicate, and transform billions of unstructured crawling records into structured catalog intelligence datasets globally .
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Data Infrastructure Engineering: Architect and build resilient, low-latency data processing systems that seamlessly orchestrate real-time web crawler feeds and precomputed datasets .
- Information Retrieval Frameworks: Develop high-throughput pipelines leveraging machine learning and deep learning algorithms to drive entity resolution, classification, and deduplication across heterogeneous data streams .
- Systems Observability & Telemetry: Design and deploy comprehensive performance metrics and monitoring setups to proactively isolate processing bottlenecks and protect site reliability .
- High-Performance Storage Configuration: Engineer efficient big-data storage architectures optimized to sustain intense, write-heavy ingestion alongside read-heavy analytical query workloads .
- Full-Lifecycle SDLC Governance: Own complete system mechanics from initial requirements scoping up to production deployments, ensuring strict compliance with secure coding standards .
- Technical Coaching & Leadership: Team up with Senior Engineers to shape platform vision while providing technical code guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the bench .
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Software Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of verified, non-internship professional software development history across enterprise platforms .
- System Design & Scaling: 2 or more years of proven industry experience mapping distributed architectural patterns, system reliability parameters, and big-data streaming limits .
- Core Technical Toolkit: Production-level coding fluency using at least one modern language (such as Java, C++, Python, or C#) combined with practical hands-on data structures and algorithmic mapping .
- Preferred Value-Adds: Valid Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with deep background navigating full SDLC lifecycles, automated build pipelines, or cloud-scale information retrieval tools .
