Job Description

Amazon India (ASSPL) is seeking an execution-focused and adaptive Team Lead, Last Mile ACES to drive shift operations at our Delivery Centers (DC) in New Delhi . This business-critical logistics leadership role centers on managing frontline transit schedules, optimizing delivery courier bandwidth, and executing structured process improvement initiatives to deliver high-velocity last-mile performance across regional e-commerce channels .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Shift Operations Governance: Take complete on-site ownership of daily shift workflows at the delivery center, managing dispatch speeds and operational safety metrics .
  • Last-Mile Delivery Execution: Supervise the end-to-end processing and execution of delivery paths extending from the local station directly to the final customer address .
  • Peak Workforce Sizing: Balance courier availability and coordinate vehicle capacity plans to ensure ample delivery team bandwidth during high-volume peak periods .
  • Continuous Performance Improvement: Uncover localized system errors, partnering with the Center Manager to apply corporate ACES standards and continuously optimize delivery metrics .
  • Ambiguity Resolution & Triage: Adapt swiftly to volatile delivery volumes and changing logistics requirements, providing clear guidance to floor cohorts under tight timelines .
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Interlock: Coordinate directly with multi-tier internal operations towers, tracking station logs and reporting milestones to maintain clear status visibility .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Professional Experience Track: Minimum of 1 year of non-internship professional history operating within high-volume customer-facing environments, fulfillment warehouses, fast-moving logistics operations, or manufacturing plants .
  • Educational Background: Holds a valid Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution .
  • Linguistic Competency: Absolute mandatory verbal, reading, and written business fluency within the English language .
  • Technical Systems Toolkit: Strong operational command over the Microsoft Office Suite applications, with preferred hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel to log transit metrics .
  • Core Soft Skills: High bias for action, exceptional logical troubleshooting properties to identify key data facts, and strong resourcefulness to bypass bottlenecks using limited assets .
