Transportation Representative, Transportation Operations Management [TOC Representative]

Amazon India (ASSPL) is hiring a process-oriented and analytical Transportation Representative to join our centralized Transportation Operations Center (TOC) team in a fully virtual (WFH) capacity across major state zones . Operating as part of Amazon's central supply chain command hub, this position acts as a critical interface across networks to monitor freight movements, triage system disruptions, and maintain excellent delivery standards .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Supply Chain Command & Control: Monitor live network data grids to verify the on-time departure, transit, and receipt of cargo connecting vendors, fulfillment facilities, and carrier nodes .
• Inbound & Outbound Triage: Resolve active transportation exceptions across carrier pickup loops and customer shipment streams, minimizing delivery estimation variances .
• Bilingual Stakeholder Interlock: Serve as the primary operational connector linking third-party suppliers and haulage firms directly with internal corporate squads (Retail, Finance, and Software Support) .
• Advanced Analytics & Querying: Query large-scale relational databases using **SQL, MS Access, and Microsoft Excel** to generate ad-hoc reports and evaluate hidden network constraints .
• System Requirements Scoping: Isolate systemic workflow blocks, drafting functional business parameters to help engineering groups configure scalable platform automation tools .
• Narrative Reporting & Escalation: Structure and author clear weekly business summaries, documenting goal variances and outlining corrective paths to clear performance blockers .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Educational Background: Holds a valid graduation degree in any specialization from an accredited or recognized university platform .
• Advanced Spreadsheet Competency: High practical mastery of Advanced Microsoft Excel features, encompassing multi-table Pivot Tables, nested VLookUps, and foundational data modeling routines .
• Operational Systems Literacy: Strong practical command navigating Windows software environments, web portals, email workflows, and terminal communication modules .
• Core Soft Skills: Meticulous text validation traits (strong grammar, style, and review habits), clear comprehension skills to translate customer queries, and high independence to meet narrow project timelines .
