Associate Analyst

Wipro is hiring Associate Analysts for its Banking Operations team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and professionals with up to one year of experience who are interested in Trade Finance, Banking Operations, and Financial Services.

As an Associate Analyst, you will support banking operations by processing financial transactions, reviewing trade finance documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality customer support while meeting operational service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily Trade Finance operation queues and process transactions accurately.
• Review and verify trade finance documents including Import & Export Letters of Credit (LCs).
• Process Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, and inward/outward remittances.
• Perform compliance screening and ensure all required approvals are completed before transaction processing.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Process banking transactions within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Handle customer queries through email and phone while maintaining professional communication.
• Record and document customer interactions using internal tracking systems.
• Identify operational issues and escalate critical cases to the Team Leader.
• Participate in product and process training programs to enhance banking knowledge.
• Support continuous process improvement and maintain operational excellence.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Banking Operations and Retail Banking.
• Understanding of Trade Finance products and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of Import & Export Letter of Credit (LC), Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, and Remittances.
• Strong document verification and compliance skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of Banking or Trade Finance experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Banking Operations or Trade Finance processes will be an added advantage.
