Copywriting Associate

Accenture is hiring a Copywriting Associate in Mumbai for a full-time opportunity within Marketing Operations and Medical Affairs. The position requires 1–3 years of experience and focuses on medical writing, clinical and regulatory content, medical communications, scientific content development, and regulatory compliance.

As a Copywriting Associate, you will develop and review high-quality medical and scientific content for clinical and regulatory documents. You will use scientific expertise to create content outlines, communicate clinical data clearly, and ensure materials comply with applicable regulatory guidelines, client requirements, templates, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The role supports Medical Affairs projects for pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations, including medical publications, education and information, thought leadership, medical grants, advisory boards, advocacy, regulatory review, publishing, and quality control activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop content and perform medical reviews for clinical and regulatory documents.
• Create high-quality medical and scientific content outlines for assigned projects and modules.
• Write scientific content for complex projects based on business requirements.
• Develop white papers, manuscripts, points of view, and other medical communications materials.
• Communicate clinical and scientific data in a clear, accurate, and concise manner.
• Convert relevant scientific and medical information into formats aligned with regional regulatory requirements.
• Follow applicable regulatory guidelines, templates, departmental best practices, and SOPs.
• Ensure all materials comply with client and Accenture internal quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technology and creative teams to develop innovative digital medical solutions.
• Participate in client pitches and business development meetings when required.
• Support training and mentoring of scientific writers and contribute to team capability development.
• Contribute to quality delivery, client engagement, and business growth.
• Perform publishing and quality control activities for submission components where required.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of clinical and regulatory writing.
• Understanding of Medical Affairs and Life Sciences Regulatory Operations.
• Experience with medical review and scientific content development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical and life sciences industry requirements.
• Experience in research and development is beneficial.
• Ability to develop medical communication strategies and create new content.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry and exposure to medical affairs, promotional medical communications, medical education, regulatory affairs, or agency-based medical communications will be relevant for this opportunity.

Eligibility: Candidates with Any Graduation qualification and 1–3 years of relevant experience can apply.
