Custom Software Engineer

Accenture is seeking an experienced and self-driven Custom Software Engineer to join their specialized enterprise systems division in Mumbai. The core focus of this software development role centers on designing, coding, configuring, and enhancing platform components across large-scale software structures to achieve high-performing corporate solutions tailored to target business operations.

Core day-to-day administrative and programming responsibilities involve interpreting complex business requirements, translating them into robust technical designs, and managing software modules independently to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Selected engineers will leverage contemporary development frameworks, manage system data exchange methods, optimize existing software layers to elevate stability metrics, and actively resolve configuration bugs. Programmers are also expected to compile clear technical documentation outlining development steps to simplify knowledge-sharing modules for future maintenance windows.

Additionally, the position requires participating in technical team alignment meetings, evaluating system integrations across external databases, and collaborating with cross-functional technical squads within an Agile software lifecycle. The engineer will also offer professional mentorship to junior team members to foster technical upskilling and career progression. Ideal applicants must present a minimum of 3 years of hands-on background in SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance, complete 15 years of full-time education, and demonstrate superb communication traits.
