Job Description
Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineering Associate in Mumbai. This is a full-time opportunity for candidates with 1–3 years of experience and an Any Graduation qualification.
The role is part of Marketing Operations and focuses on developing, testing, and optimizing responsive HTML email templates for digital marketing campaigns. The selected candidate will work with marketing stakeholders, creative teams, and marketing automation platforms to deliver personalized and responsive email experiences across different devices and email clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and marketing stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and requirements.
- Review campaign briefs, clarify requirements, and identify potential risks before development.
- Work with creative teams to integrate visual elements into HTML email templates.
- Design and develop responsive HTML5 and CSS3 email templates from design files.
- Ensure email templates are compatible with different email clients and devices, including desktop and mobile.
- Implement dynamic and personalized content using technologies such as AMPscript or SSJS.
- Conduct thorough email testing across different email clients and devices.
- Identify and resolve HTML and CSS rendering issues.
- Follow email design, accessibility, deliverability, and industry best practices.
- Support email automation, journey-based emails, and triggered campaigns.
- Use marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Eloqua, and Adobe Builder where required.
- Maintain accurate updates in ticketing and request-management systems.
- Follow established Desktop Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, and process documentation.
- Complete required reports and ensure accurate reporting to clients and leadership.
- Support data hygiene and maintain accurate campaign-related information.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience developing responsive HTML email templates.
- Understanding of email design, UX, deliverability, and accessibility best practices.
- Experience testing emails across multiple devices and email clients.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and AMPscript.
- Familiarity with Braze, Eloqua, Adobe Builder, Content Builder, Data Extensions, and SSJS.
- Understanding of SQL queries and data handling.
- Knowledge of email automation, triggered campaigns, and journey-based campaigns.
- Understanding of A/B testing and campaign performance optimization.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
