Job Description
Amazon is hiring Risk Specialists for its Customer and Digital Abuse (CDA) team in Hyderabad. You will also contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining Amazon's reputation for customer trust and marketplace integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, manage, and resolve high-impact risk incidents and operational escalations.
- Support fraud prevention and customer trust initiatives across Amazon's global marketplace.
- Execute risk mitigation strategies to protect customers, sellers, and brand owners.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports, executive summaries, and Correction of Errors (COE) documents.
- Analyze existing policies, identify process gaps, and recommend scalable improvements.
- Manage operational improvement projects using data analysis and business insights.
- Monitor global events, emerging trends, and potential marketplace risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement preventive controls and operational solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Make informed business decisions while handling complex risk scenarios.
- Maintain high standards of compliance, operational excellence, and customer trust.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
- Freshers or candidates with at least 1 year of experience in fraud investigations, risk analysis, compliance, operations, or related domains are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to investigate complex issues using data and logical reasoning.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and business reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Risk Management, Fraud Detection, Trust & Safety, Compliance, or Investigations.
- Knowledge of operational risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience working with large datasets and business analytics.
- Experience managing projects or operational improvement initiatives.
