Job Description

Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is looking for a FinOps Manager I - AR (German) in Pune, Maharashtra, to join the Global Accounts Receivable team. This role manages high-volume cash application, complex reconciliations, and German-language stakeholder communication within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Cash Application: Ensure timely, accurate allocation of payments, adherence to SLAs, and resolution of unapplied cash .
  • German Market Support: Act as the primary, fluent operational contact for Germany-based accounts, managing escalations via email and voice .
  • Process & Quality: Perform sub-ledger reconciliations, lead process improvement (Kaizen) projects, and ensure quality control in accounting procedures .
  • ERP Management: Identify and report system issues in ERP tools, collaborating with technical teams to resolve data issues .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

  • Language & Education: Mandatory B2 (or higher) German proficiency and a Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or similar .
  • Experience: 6–8 years in O2C, with at least 3 years focused on Accounts Receivable or cash applications .
  • Tools & Skills: Intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel skills and ability to work in rotational/night shifts .
