Job Description
Infosys Limited is seeking an experienced, analytical Pega Automation Testing Consultant to join our elite Infosys Quality Engineering service line in Noida. This senior quality assurance position focus on designing scalable test automation frameworks, validating complex case life cycles, and integrating end-to-end automation suites for enterprise Pega PRPC applications.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- End-to-End Test Strategy: Dissect technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for enterprise Pega applications to architect comprehensive test strategies and maximum verification coverage.
- Automation Engineering: Design, code, and maintain robust automated test scripts using the Pega Test Automation Suite (ATS) and Selenium with Java tailored for specialized Pega UI components and workflows.
- Pega Artifact Validation: Verify systemic platform components including case life cycles, activities, business decision rules, and decisioning outcomes to enforce structural stability and regulatory compliance.
- Integration & API Testing: Test and validate downstream web service integrations and REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring accurate data mapping schema verification, payload transformations, and error handling.
- Data Verification & SQL Querying: Author complex SQL queries to validate back-end database states, running comprehensive multi-environment checks to secure overall data integrity.
- CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Embed automated test execution suites smoothly into continuous integration pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps, utilizing Git source control to maintain code baselines.
- Framework Optimization: Refine testing framework architecturesβutilizing Page Object Models (POM) and reusable software utilitiesβto accelerate execution speed, enhance reporting transparency, and eliminate code flakiness.
- Agile Delivery & Defect Triage: Estimate sprint testing efforts inside Scrum ceremonies, trace software anomalies via JIRA/ALM, log granular reproduction steps, and generate quality metrics for executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Technical Stack
- Professional Experience: 5 to 14 years of robust IT quality engineering experience, featuring a minimum of 5 years dedicated strictly to hands-on Pega application testing and test automation configurations.
- Core Technical Toolkit: Operational expertise with the Pega rules engine, workflows, and UI behaviors across PRPC 7.x and 8.x environments, alongside strong Java programming.
- Preferred Capabilities: Foundational familiarity with Mobile Automation Testing architectures and package testing principles is highly advantageous.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong logical thinking properties, advanced cross-functional troubleshooting, exceptional technical writing, and a natural capacity to guide peer testing squads.
