Amazon Dev Center India (ADCI) is seeking a bilingual, highly analytical Transportation Specialist - Transportation, JP Outbound to support the Amazon Japan logistics network from an Indian virtual / remote location . Operating within our high-stakes Network Operations Center (NOC), this cross-border command position anchors real-time transportation execution—facilitating immediate communication flows between regional carriers, hubs, and warehouses to eliminate network bottlenecks and secure business continuity .

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Cross-Border Exception Triage: Act as the primary command engine to monitor and resolve real-time delays, disruptions, or cancellations impacting freight moving between vendors, fulfillment centers, and hubs .
• Bilingual Stakeholder Management: Drive fluent, high-fidelity business discussions and written log coordinates across external Japanese carriers/suppliers and internal software support blocks .
• Multi-Database Data Mining: Pull, clean, and analyze logistics datasets from numerous internal engines using Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, or SQL to trace core performance constraints .
• Functional Requirements Scoping: Isolate recurrent workflow variance patterns and scope explicit software requirements for engineering teams to build automated transport solutions .
• WBR Strategy Presentation: Author detailed performance narratives detailing weekly findings, exception trends, and variance-to-goal vectors for live delivery in executive review forums .
• 24/7 Operational Agility: Maintain continuous system visibility and resolve supply chain exceptions inside a fast-paced 24/7 operations environment, with full flexibility for **mandatory night shifts** .

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

• Bilingual Language Certification: Direct professional mastery in Japanese business communication, backed by a mandatory JLPT N2 or JLPT N1 Certification .
• Educational Foundation: Holds a valid Bachelor’s degree from an accredited or recognized university platform .
• Advanced Spreadsheet Competency: High professional mastery of **Advanced Microsoft Excel** setups to manipulate data strings and run trend line charts .
